  • Heat Exchanger Full Length Tube Liners

    Our full-length tube liners feature thin-walled construction and allow metallurgical upgrades to achieve alloy protection on the tube I.D. This custom servicecan restore damaged/plugged heat exchanger tubes or can be installed in NEW tubes providing years of long-term reliability from the start, why wait for the tubes to fail? The tube liners are engineered to withstand erosion/corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and deep pitting issues. Extending the tube life will prevent costly shutdowns resulting from tube failures. Another benefit, our tube liners feature a smooth bore I.D. that greatly reduces fouling associated with carbon steel tubes. Restoring long term reliability reduces downtime, controls maintenance costs and supports optimal efficiency.

  • Heat Exchanger Tube Shields

    Our tube shields are custom sized per application and available in a wide variety of materials. Shields feature thin-walled construction, a flared inlet to enhance flow and a chamfered outlet to prevent end-step erosion where it meets the parent tube. The length is determined by the location of the problem; we size the length to extend beyond the damaged area, ensuring protection from the tube end to the “good” portion of the tube, whether it’s a few inches or even several feet into the tube end.

    ‍ Shorter shields are installed mechanically, roller expanded at the first inch, within the tubesheet and at the last inch to form a leak-free seal. Longer shields will be hydraulically expanded the full length to eliminate any air gap between the shield O.D. and the tube I.D. followed by the mechanical expansion process mentioned above. Why replace the entire tube when we can provide protection where it’s needed most, at the tube end.
